WHERE DO YOU COME IN:

We are looking for an M&IE Manager, who would be responsible for monitoring progress, developing appropriate metrics for impact (both short-term and long-term), and working out new techniques to measure the impact of our teacher training programs and students impacted across India. Along with these responsibilities, the manager would also be responsible for designing a monitoring and evaluation strategy.

The holder of the position will play a major role in providing technical support to the Operations Team, especially in tracking data figures and numbers through dashboards and appropriate M&E tools and processes and building capacity for Monitoring & Evaluation among project/program staff. S/he will be expected to assist Project Managers in ensuring sound project planning, monitoring, and evaluation of progress and technical reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES THAT YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Lead design of monitoring and evaluation framework and the tools for different programs.
  • Evaluate the performance of all core programs through tools defined in the Monitoring and Evaluation Framework.
  • Produce periodic reports of the evaluation for internal use and for funder reports.
  • Lead monitoring and impact evaluation internally and analyze findings from such evaluations to use learnings to inform program design.
  • Ensure timely implementation of monitoring projects with a strong focus on execution and quality assurance – including data validity checks, analysis/interpretation, and editorial support.
  • Empowering and supporting the team to drive high-quality implementation of M&E priorities.

KEY SKILLS THAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Master’s degree in development economics, econometrics, applied sociology or a similar field
  • Minimum 3 years experience in monitoring, evaluation, and impact assessment and in project management
  • Superior knowledge of best practices and current trends in large project portfolio management, monitoring, and evaluation
  • Excellent knowledge of program monitoring and evaluation methods (qualitative and quantitative), including experience developing monitoring and evaluation plans, tools, training materials, reports, and summary forms.
  • Capacity to synthesize monitoring data into the effective presentation of results to help performance improvement.

REMUNERATION:

Remuneration based on skill set, prior experience, and value addition. The salary would be decided upon as per the sector standards.
