Function
Child Care and Support Services Management, to function as the program’s operational and pedagogical person in command

Qualifications
1. Graduate /post graduate degree in Social Work, Human Development Services or similar, with training and experience that includes child development, teaching and administration.
2. Educational qualifications and personal commitment required to serve as the program’s Head
Experience
1. A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the early childhood sector.
2. A minimum of 2 years staff management experience, preferably 5–6 years in schools/Preschool as Principal/senior teacher or team leader.
School Operations
1. To act as Academic & Administrative Head of Preschool Center.
2. To exercise overall Supervision of various staff with a view to achieve defined objectives by mentoring & guiding them wherever required.
To provide leadership for the professional staff of the school in the development, implementation and evaluation of a comprehensive educational program and to administer the program an accordance with preschool policies, rules and regulations
To ensure high standards of learning and teaching and proper delivery of the curriculum plan and instructional materials by the teachers as per the CC standards
To ensure satisfaction of parents, community, management through efficient preschool operations and quality service delivery
To attend to the children’s developmental needs, develop the knowledge and skills considering the standard milestones, individual potentials and parental expectations

8. Provide leadership to staff to implement the program mission, respond proactively to changing conditions to enhance program quality and systematically support an organizational climate that fosters trust, collaboration, and inclusion.
9. To conduct orientation/periodic training programs for all faculty members and up-date them on latest developments in the academic field.
10. To effectively participate in Redressal of Academic grievances of CC students, staff, parents and others through immediate creative coordinator & emergent cases on 24×7 basis.
11. To coordinate with the other departments of the school for smooth execution of their individual functions.
12. To receive periodical reports/MIS/feedback from all functionaries and exercise controls over their functioning.
13. To submit Periodical MIS & exception report to Management.
Academic
Collaborate with the Curriculum, coordinators and the other content team for ensuring quality delivery of pedagogical instructions and continuous enhancement of academic standards
2. Stay on top of key early childhood education standards, research, trends, and customer needs including but not limited to Thorough knowledge of the documents prescribed by the govt. bodies like NCERT, NEP 2020 and ECCE as it applies to pre-primary education.
3. Conduct a continuous research on the topics to understand latest techniques and practices.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to provide and receive critical feedback on lessons, with the goal of always making things better and easier for students and teachers.
Ensure accurate assessment and evaluation of the students’ performance.
Monitor the home delivery process of worksheets, home works, monthly calendar of activities and report cards, newsletters and follow up any issues with clients and teachers.
Marketing/ Parent Relation
Ensure sufficient number of enrollments of the students
Coordinate and effectively implement all promotion activities, arrange for collection and display of posters, displays, newsletters, emails, greeting cards, notices etc.
Educate and brief school staff of ongoing promotions, and devise methods to increase admissions through innovative displays, and other sales strategies.
Maintain regular communication with parents and obtain at least one customer feedback in the customer complaints and suggestions register every week days.
Interact with potentially large groups of parents, neighbors, customers- e.g., nearby apartment blocks, individual houses and institutions with a view to increase and create awareness of the preschool program in general.
Manage any data collection activities, customer surveys etc. that may be initiated from time to time.
Knowledge Skills & Requirements
1. Highly developed knowledge of early childhood development and planning programs to foster the global development of children.
2. Highly developed Knowledge of global Standards for child Care and early years program.
Computer and keyboard skills, leadership, coordination and organizational skills, problem-solving, performance counseling, and time management.
Experience working in a team environment including, staff supervision, team building, leadership, communication and conflict resolution skills Staff supervision, Care taker supervision, good communication/written and oral, Conflict resolution, Mediation, Team development, ability to communicate
