HEAD OF Admissions for 3 Schools (Bandra, Andheri & Goregaon)


  1. About Stellarworld School: Stellarworld School, India’s first Life Literacy school, exists to develop life-literate learners. Our 3 campuses are strategically set in Bandra, Andheri, and Goregaon to serve the community of discerning and evolved parents living in the western part of Mumbai.
  2. Job Purpose: The Head of Admissions (HOA) oversees all aspects of admissions, and recruitment and will lead the admissions process from inquiry through enrollment. The HOA will lead a collaborative effort to develop and implement both short-term and long-term admission strategies to ensure Universal Education meets admission objectives.

  3. Should be able to strategize and achieve admission target
  4. Plan, develop, execute and monitor the successful conversion of leads generated by the marketing team. Development and management of a customer service ethos throughout the admissions process (e.g. ensuring all turnaround times are met)
  5. Develop and own the complete admission process – from enquire to enrollment-
  6. Communication and Marketing
  7. Lead and develop a communications plan with prospective clients to move them from inquiry to enrollment.
  8. Lead development of admissions materials, events, and marketing practices.
  9. Works closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications to develop the overall marketing campaign for the school and works strategically with the school’s constituents to ensure an integrated, engaging and effective identity
  10. Work closely with the Head of Schools and Central academic team to bring in events and classroom learnings in admission pitch.
  11. Strategy
  12. Planning, forecasting and analyzing market demand and student admission trends in coordination with senior management to attract and admit more students.
  13. Designing and Directing market research initiatives
  14. Provision of timely and regular reports to senior management and academic management with up-to-date statistics and analysis of student admissions and making recommendations where necessary (e.g. Admission reports, Exemption analysis reports etc.)


  1. Graduate or preferably MBA with at least 10 years of overall marketing experience including 5 years in the Formal Education Sector in India
  2. Knowledge and experience of implementing admissions procedures and SOP’s.
  3. Good experience in tech-enabled admission environments involving lead management using CRM tools, visualization through MIS tools, multi-channel lifecycle marketing, etc.


  1. Should have consistently achieved targets in last 5 years
  2. Should have the flair to coach/train and mentor admissions teams.
  3. Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
